4 days ago I had the left lobe of my thyroid removed. My trachea is mostly recovered from being intubated with a wire wrapped tube, my uvula is still swollen and while swallowing food and drink is not so bad, expectorating post - nasal drip mucous is really I annoying. For some reason, my mouth and tongue, while not initially affected by the surgery or intubation, are absolutely on fire -- probably a side effect from the pain killer, the antibiotic, or the combination of both ( I mention the combination because I have previously been on both these meds without issue). The area around the incision is really starting to itch -- not convenient for someone with dermagraphics.
I'd really like to wash my hair.
